Fluorapatite

Item Description

An attractive display piece of these lovely Fluorapatites from Afghanistan featuring several lilac colored hexagonal crystals, ranging from tabular to somewhat prismatic measuring up to 8 mm across, sitting in a vug on Microcline matrix. The crystals are translucent internally, and most of them are in very good condition, with only a little bit of roughness here and there. The piece has been sawn in a few spots, but it allows it to sit nicely on its own for easy display without a base or clay.
