The famous Pompa pit in Brumado, Brazil is famous for producing some of the most iconic examples of what was formerly sold at Uvite Tourmaline, but now it is described as being part of the Fluor-uvite-Uvite series. They are very distinctive due to their highly compressed pyramidal shape, often showing very little prismatic faces. This gorgeous miniature is a very sculptural and eye-catching piece features dozens of very lustrous, sharp, gemmy, well-formed crystals of Fluor-uvite / Uvite measuring up to 7 mm associated with very sharp, textbook rhombs of gemmy colorless Magnesite measuring up to 1.4 cm. There are a few rough spots as you rotate the piece in your hands, but it's nearly crystallized all the way around, and it's rather showy as it has good character and depth that is rarely seen in this material.
