Fluorapatite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

This is a wonderful gemmy pink Fluorapatite crystal, terminated all around, with lustrous faces, and rich pink color for the size. Minor edge wear, but still a lovely gem crystal specimen from this emerald district. These first started coming out about 15 years ago (~2001) and good thumbnails like this are rarely available on the market these days. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7864). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
