Item Description
Florencite is an ULTRA-RARE, rare-earth, cerium-rich phosphate. This IMPRESSIVE CABINET combination specimen is covered with very glassy and lustrous, colorless magnesite rhombs to 2.5 cm. The HIGHLIGHT of this specimen, though, are the three, sharp, euhedral, straw-yellow florencite crystals to 5 mm clustered on the left side of the piece and the single, isolated crystal in the top, center. The RICH sprinkling of gemmy, dark cherry-red uvite (a tourmaline species) crystals to 8 mm is a SERIOUS bonus. This is an OUTSTANDING and VERY RICH combination specimen, including this rare phosphate. Valued at $750-1000. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
