An excellent cluster of intergrown, lustrous, translucent, lavender octahedral spinel crystals from Mogok. Purple is a rare color. these have Outstanding large crystals for the species measuring to 3.5 cm tip to tip. Very nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of edgewear. A floater with no points of attachment and complete all around. This is an uncommon and desirable color, with large crystals, from this famed locale. Valued $750-1000
