Floater Smoky Quartz xl (Robert Whitmore Coll.)

Item Description

A fine old New Hampshire smoky from the from an uncommon locale. The sharp, glassy, lustrous, translucent, deep smoky crystal is a floater. It is complete all-around and is actually nearly pristine. The back, base and one side are contacted, but the only real bruising, per se, is on the side. Very trivial termination edgewear is noted, but is certainly only a modest detraction. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 788 and his note indicates he paid $75.00 for this in 1977. Rare in this quality.
