A large 4.3 cm on the diagonal, blocky compound dolomite rhomb dominates this sculptural 360-degree cluster of intergrown dolomite crystals from the famous Shangbao Mine. The pastel-pink rhombs have fine porcelaneous lustre and the scattered embedded quartz points are nifty accessories. It's hard to tell where the attachment is on this fine example. Specimens of this rare dolomite and quartz combination, without fluorite, came out in the mid-2000s. Seldom on the market today.
