Wow! A surreal, heavily etched, doubly terminated aquamarine crystal from Pakistan. The color of this gorgeous, glassy, transparent to translucent crystal is a rich ice-blue and it sure looks like a melting icicle. The etching has just about dissolved away part of the crystal, leaving only thin strands to hold the piece together! The terminations and sides are similarly etched. This style of aqua reminds me of the pieces from Pedra Azul, Brazil, but its not. Uncommon and uncommonly excellent material from Pakistan. 71 grams. Valued at $1000-1250.
