Item Description

An aesthetic, intergrown, floater cluster of lustrous, translucent to opaque, brown gypsum blades from the famous Great Salt Plains area, near Jet, Oklahoma. The two large crystals look like rabbit ears! Some of the smaller crystals have faint hour-glass sand inclusions, for which the locality is renowned for. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, which is very hard to get, for this soft mineral. Highly representative of this noted locale. Ex Kevin Brown Collection.
