Item Description
Fluoro-richterite is a rare member of the Amphibole Supergroup with some of the very finest examples coming from the Wilberforce area of Ontario. This is an extremely fine and rare floater parallel-growth cluster of sharp, doubly terminated crystals from the Robert Nowakowski Collection. The highly lustrous black crystals have striking areas of gray-brown translucence under bright light. The opposing side car crystal really adds pizzazz to this exeptional and essentially pristine two-sided specimen. The contact on the front has no damage, per se. A rare Bancroft area classic.
