Floater Columbite-Tantalite xl (rare) ex Fioravanti Coll.

Item Description

Columbite-Tantalite specimens are very rare from Bahia, Brazil. This very sharp, highly lustrous, blocky black crystal has very interesting beveled edges and is a doubly terminated floater. A bit of contacting with modest bruising is noted on the lower end, but has minimal impact on the significance of this fine rarity. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and acquired in 1977.
