Item Description

A really cool piece of soft creamy white colored Flint from the site of Israel's national cemetery and other memorial and educational facilities, found on the west side of Jerusalem beside Jerusalem Forest. How often does one have the chance to buy Israeli specimens? It should be noted that Flint is not a mineral, but it's actually considered to be a rock comprising tiny grains of cryptocrystalline Quartz. This piece even fluoresces a soft yellowish color under UV light!
