Fish-tail twinned Gypsum floater (fluorescent)

An impressive large floater gypsum specimen from this well-known Manitoba locale. 12 striking, beautiful, transparent and lustrous, fish-tail twinned, amber gypsum crystals rest on a ball of smaller selenite crystals from the Red River Floodway. The dominating large blade on the top is 4.3 x 4.2 x 2.3 cm. The waxy luster to the large blades really adds pizzazz to the piece. This striking floater piece is nearly pristine, with only a bit of trivial edge wear. Ghostly white fluorescence. Classic and excellent Red River Floodway gypsums like this came out in the 1980s and early 1990s. Every turn presents a strikingly different perspective on these unusual floater specimens.
