Item Description

A classic Mexican Fire Opal gem. This "Oval Cabochon" cut stone has a transparent orange portion, and soft cream-orange section when viewed in transmitted light, and when viewed in reflected light there are attractive little rainbow flashes that appear on the surface. Only a small percentage of this material show good rainbow flash, and this particular gem is certainly distinctive.
