Item Description
Some of the finest Fire Opal gems in the world are those from Mexico. These gems occur in range of warm hues, with intense reds, oranges and yellows. This stone is a notably hard to find BI-COLORED gem with a glowing golden-orange color in about 75% of the stone with an intense flame red hue on the other 25%. The stone has excellent crystal clarity and a wonderful "Emerald" cut that allows the light and color to really shine through. I can say that I've literally seen thousands of Fire Opal gems from Mexico over the years, but a bi-colored stone like this is incredibly hard to find, especially with such great color and clarity.
