A superlative and striking calcite with rare accessories from the Annabel Lee Mine and the Ross Lillie Collection # 0018. A dramatic stout calcite crystal with fabulous multiple church spire terminations rises up from the incredibly dense nest of smaller crystals. The secondary crystal is about 4.5 cm long. The scattered lustrous, rare droplets of non-fluorescent hydrocarbon (bitumen), to 5 mm, are a super accent. Mined in March, 1987. The spires are pristine and the bit of bruising at the base has negligible impact to the high quality of this stunning piece. Valued at $750-900.
