Item Description
Stunning pods of shimmering, chatoyant, electric purple color rare fibrous sugilite are dramatically scattered on the very sculptural layered sugilite and ore matrix small cabinet plate. Sugilite is a rare complex K-Na-Fe-Lithium silicate. Fibrous sugilite is rare, as most specimens are massive sugilite, which makes fine lapidary material. Choice and most colorful material from 2016-17 finds at the N'Chwaning III Mine.
