Item Description
Stunning shimmering chatoyant electric purple color and rare fibrous texture Sugilite richly covers all sides of this striking, most colorful thumbnail. Sugilite is a rare very complex lithium silicate and is a member of the Osumilite Group. Most specimens are massive and make very colorful lapidiary material. It is very hard to obtain specimens of this quality today. An exceptional thumbnail from the 2016-17 finds at the N'Chawaning III Mine.
