The discovery of Ferronigerite-2N1S (originally Nigerite) from the Three Aloes Mine produced the finest examples of the species. This material is exceptionally difficult to obtain, and good crystallized examples such as this are prized by rare mineral collectors. This piece features a beautiful, sharp, lustrous, platy, reddish-brown 1.1 cm crystal of Ferronigerite-2N1S with in host rock matrix.
