Item Description

Ferrokesterite is a rare copper sulfosalt, the iron analogue of kesterite. This old Cornwall mine is the Type Locality. A few ferrokesterite blebs with the dark blue-violet tarnish are noted on both sides of the slab of metallic, bladed arsenopyrite. Rare and excellent combination material from the Alan Barnes and Matioli Collections.
