Ferrocolumbite with Spessartine (ex Obodda)

Item Description

A deep red color, sharp, lustrous crystal of trapezohedral Spessartine measures 1.8 cm across associated with a black bladed striated crystal of Ferrocolumbite measuring 1.3 cm sit atop a cream colored blocky crystal of Microcline. The piece is three dimensional showing good overall form. I don't remember seeing Spessartine with Ferrocolumbite like this from Pakistan before, and it is certainly different for Shengus. For Garnet collectors, this is a unique specimen I think. Ex Herb Obodda specimen inventory, priced originally at $600 around 10 years ago, but worth more today.
