Item Description

A very fine, complete all-around, lustrous, blocky, black, ferrocolumbite crystal from an old locale in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The crystal has textbook orthorhombic form and a sharp termination. A trivial bit of edgwear is noted lower on one side. A highly representative example of this uncommon niobium species which is rarely seen from Brazil. Old specimen, ex Larry Krauss collection
