Ferroaxinite

A 3.0 cm sharp, lustrous, well-formed, tabular crystal of purplish Ferroaxinite on matrix from a "kleft" deposit in the mountains of Afghanistan, very similar to "Alpine type" Axinites from Russia, or true Alpine Axinites from Europe. I don't know if I've seen one quite like this before, but it's aesthetic and good sized for the species. Certainly worth picking up just from a novelty standpoint. The crystal seems to be possibly included with muted green color "Chlorite".
