Ferro-Pargasite (ex Obodda)

Item Description

Amphibole Group species are very rare from this Shigar Valley area locale. Ferro-pargasite is a rare amphibole, and crystals of this size and quality are almost impossible to find on the market. The jagged, complex termination on this "wet" well-striated, jet-black crystal is in very good shape. This could be unique for the locale. Ex Herb Obodda specimen. The label is listed as Ferro-Pargasite, but it could be more safely labeled as Hornblende.
