Item Description

Ferrimolybdite is a rare secondary mineral commonly formed from the alteration of molybdenite. Fields of yellow ferrimolybdite crystals are richly scattered on all sides of the quartz-rich matrix along with small molydenite crystals. This colorful and rich combination is from an obscure Idaho mine and specimens are seldom available. Ex Art Soregaroli Collection.
