Ferberite with Quartz (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

The famous Tae Wha mine in Korea has produced some very attractive Tungsten minerals. The Ferberites from this mine are some of the most classic for the species. This specimen hosts a few sharp, lustrous, well-formed, jet-black color, bladed crystals of Ferberite which are associated with accenting Quartz crystals. The piece is fairly complete on the display side, although it is contacted on the back/side of the piece. It is certainly an attractive specimen from this storied locality in a now less than accessible part of the world.
