Ferberite (twin)

A great display specimen featuring a sharp, robust, blocky, jet-black, TWINNED Ferberite crystal. There is some bruising on the back side of the piece, but it's still a good specimen for the material, and twins are RARE from this locality. Panasqueira produced some of the most impressive and attractive Ferberite specimens extant, and pieces like this remind collectors that it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain good specimens from this now defunct locality. A good looking piece for a "black rock". Valued at $700.
