A superb and aesthetic ferberite and quartz specimen with outstanding accessories from Panaqueira. The classic, very jauntily angled, parallel-growth cluster of splendent, well-striated ferberite blades is dramatically accented by the water-clear quartz monlith, that grew up around and over the ferberite blades. The ferberite terminations have a nifty preferential dusting of tiny sparkly pyrite crystals with calcite and siderite disks. The water-clear quartz termination has an amazing phantom and the prism faces are preferentially cloaked with pyrite, siderite and calcite. Smaller quartz crystals and a calcite-covered purple fluorite crystal further enhance this stunning and excellent two-sided combination specimen from the Gene Meieran Collection. Very fairly valued at $1500.
