Item Description

This is a sharply contrasting miniature from Yaogangxian with metallic black set against quartz white... Super shiny, gunmetal black metallic crystals of Ferberite are scattered all over one of the display surfaces of two parallel growth Quartz crystals. The bladed Ferberites are all well terminated, average just less than a centimeter in size, and are striated parallel to their length. There is good separation between the crystals so they really stand out on the milky Quartz background. The Quartz crystals are juxtaposed with the largest measuring 4.5 cm in length. Smaller Ferberites are present on the backside and run the length of the area of attachment of the two Quartz crystals. A lovely miniature! Old material, seldom seen today.
