Item Description
Kara-Oba in Kazakhstan has produced some very attractive Ferberite specimens over the years, peaking with some really good specimens in the 1990s. Here we have a sharp, lustrous, striated, jet-black, colored, prismatic crystal group of Ferberite with associated Quartz. For the most part, the Ferberite is in good condition, but there are some rough edges so it's not damage free. The termination is complete and the luster on the front faces is shimmering. A nice association specimens from this well known locality in central Kazakhstan. The piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
