Item Description
Excellent specimen of Ferberite from the classic Chicote Grande Mine, one of the "forgotten" mines in Bolivia. This single, 8.6 cm crystal has a superb, mirror-like termination that is complex and attractive all at the same time. The largest prism faces expose the sequential growth patterns, something you almost never seen in a Ferberite, and it adds significantly to the interest of the piece. Very little has come out in the last 40-50 years, so a high-quality small cabinet specimen like this is a real find. Luster and surface texture is really nice! Formerly in Dr.Fritz Berndt collection.
