A great display specimen featuring sharp and HIGHLY lustrous, prismatic, jet-black, striated Ferberite crystals with associated Calcite and Pyrite. There is some bruising on the back side of the piece, but it's still a fine quality display specimen for the material. Panasqueira produced some of the most impressive and attractive Ferberite specimens extant, and pieces like this remind collectors that it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain good specimens from this now defunct locality. A good looking piece for a "black rock". From an old East Coast collection, and comes with the custom black base seen in the photos.
