Ferberite

Item Description

Lustrous, very attractive single compound crystal of Ferberite from Portugal. The luster and habit are very good, with the major faces having mild striations and steps in them. Very attractive. The crystal actually has seven terminations, and all of them have superb luster. The bottom is, of course, contacted, and one of the narrow sides is cleaved (Ferberite does have perfect cleavage along 010), but that side blends in perfectly with the overall crystal. Overall, one of my favorite Ferberites from this locale in its size range. It is sharp, interesting, and aesthetic.
