Item Description
In 2013, some shocking new gem crystals of feldspar came to market, briefly, and were considered for a time to be a possibly new species. This is one of those gem crystals, and when we say gem, we mean it - among the most gemmy feldspars of any species to ever be found. It looks like a clear or pinkish tanzanite at first glance! This is a single crystal Gene kept for fun, for his diverse suite of single crystals of different species. It is a fine thumbnail example of this famous discovery.
