This sharp feldspar twin is an antique, and from the most important and classic Alpine locality in Switzerland. It exhibits perfect textbook Manebach twinning, and is pristine. It is perhaps 100 years old or more and yet still has the pocket clay on it, from the day it was collected, although you could probably make it more bright and shiny with some iron-out chemistry. The old label is the style from the personal collection of Art Montgomery (1909-1999), one of the most long lived and important collectors of the 1900s (https://mineralogicalrecord.com/labels.asp?colid=592), from whom it passed to Richard Hauck.
