A classic specimen from the famous Foote Mine in western North Carolina. The piece features a several off-white colored, gemmy / translucnet crystal groups of the well known phosphate Fairfieldite measuring pu to 5 mm on Albite matrix. It is certainly worthwhile for any collector of this material based upon the crystal size and quality. Foote Mine specimens are true classics from the United States and are in high demand among collectors.
