Item Description
Fairfieldite is a rare phosphate, with outstanding specimens coming from this extinct well-known lithia-bearing granite pegmatite. It is famous for a variety of rare phosphates and silicates. A HUGE for the locale, 1.8 cm, light brown, translucent bladed ball of crystals is very aesthetically set in a vug lined with UNCOMMON quartz crystals. This is superb combination example with a very rare large crystal cluster from the locale. Valued at $900-1200 and is from 1970s-80s finds by and from the mine chemist and analysis shop manager, Jack Eaker.
