Item Description

A classic specimen from the famous Foote Mine in western North Carolina. The piece features an isolated, 7 mm, off-white colored, gemmy / translucnet crystal of the well known phosphate Fairfieldite on matrix. Smaller crystals of Fairfieldite can be seen on the piece as well. It is certainly worthwhile for any collector of this material based upon the crystal size and quality.
