Item Description
Fairfieldite is a rare phosphate, usually found in granite pegmatites. The Foote Mine is famous for a variety of rare phosphates and silicates. This is outstanding, classic, very rich and old material! To find a fairfieldite crystal to 1.3 cm is truly rare, but give it good definition, luster, and color as the largest crystal has here and you have a truly significant specimen, especially with all of the crystal density. The back of the plate has been sawed to enhance the two fine display views. Ex University of Delaware Collection. A MUST for the species or locality collector! valued $750-950
