Item Description
A surreal faden or "string" quartz from the late 1990s finds from the South Waziristan District, easily the world's best. This fascinating, doubly terminated, essentially pristine floater is composed of two integrown, highly lustrous, dramatically different crystal types! An impressive tabular, water-clear gem crystal with striking sharp chisel terminations on both ends is aesthetically attached to a tapered, highly pronounced stepped-growth gem quartz spearpoint. The distinctive faden or "thread" runs down the length of the spearpoint and is easily visible. This super unusual cutie has multiple display views. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
