Item Description
A dramatic tower of faden quartz from this less well-known Pakistan locale and the Francesco Bedogne Collection # 1787. Stacked, water-clear, tabular, doubly terminated quartz crystals with striking spearpoint and chisel terminations have a very well-defined faden or "string" running down the crystals. The crystals are pristine on this exceptional 360-degree example. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector. Read his biography in the Mineralogical Record Biographical Archive: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=118. Every turn presents a different perspective!
