"Face" Agate with Hyalite Opal

Dramatic, large, leering "smile" below the two close-set, oddball shaped "eyes" with variably colored "pupils" on this bizarre looking sliced and polished geode end section from this well-known Turkey agate locality. Striking stiletto-like quartz "teeth" fill the open "mouth" of the geode core fantastically surrounded by banded white, light blue and gray agate. The "face" resembles a surreal ghoul or alien and is certainly an otherworldly caricature in agate from the locale. Interesting preferential green Hyalite Opal SW UV fluorescence adds drama and color. Valued at $2000 for exotic form and high quality.
