"Face" Agate

Two stunning variably-sized, banded, black to blue, "eyes" with tiny "pupils" hauntingly stare out from the surreal triangular "head" on this fantastic, large, sliced and polished geode from this well-known Turkey agate locality. Densely banded light blue agate surrounds the "eyes" and crystallized quartz core with a deformed, offset "nose" of blue agate. The "head" is dramatically framed with banded black to brown to blue agate. The head resembles a bizarre alien or ghoul and is certainly an otherworldly caricature in agate from the locale. Mass is 1400 grams or 3.1 pounds.
