Item Description
Surreal, cartoon-like "eye" agate from this well-known Turkey agate locality. The fantastic center of the sliced and polished geode half resembles a totally deformed ghoul or ghost head from the movie "The Ghostbusters". The striking variably colored "eyes" of the misshapen blue "head" with the dramatically deformed open "mouth" are surrounded by contrasting variable golden-yellow agate bands. Backlighting highlights the beautiful golden-yellow translucency of part of the geode. Certainly a stunning, colorful and bizarre caricature in agate from the locale.
