Item Description
A really good looking and eye-catching thumbnail specimen of Eudyialite from Kirovskii featuring a sharp and well-formed deep raspberry red trigonal crystal free of matrix. These are not nearly as common the market as they were 25 years ago, and if you collect Russian classics, this is a must have as they are iconic and desirable. From the worldwide collection of David Burgess (1951-2016). David was a prolific species collector from Newington, Connecticut, and the namesake for the extremely rare cobalt arsenate species Burgessite, which he discovered.
