Item Description

A sculptural, colorful and exotic 2-sided combination from this well-known Quebec alkaline complex. Pods of bright, glassy, magenta Eudialyte are adjacent to small patches of blocky, pearly, translucent grayish-brown agrellite on both sides. Agrellite is a very rare silicate with flourine and this is the Type Locality. Black amphiboles are a fine accessory and contrast in the blocky off-white albite matrix. The agrellite fluoresces pink in both the LW and SW UV shots, the albite is red in the SW shot along with an unknown green fluorescent mineral. Ex Charlie Key Collection. Quality combination specimens from the Kipawa are uncommon and this is an excellent example
