Item Description
A sliced and polished specimen of Eudialyte from the Kola Peninsula featuring fuchsia pink crystal sections embedded in contrasting black schist matrix. The species gets its name from the fact that its ready solubility in acid, and translates to "well decomposable" from the Greek phrase, eu dialytos. A nice representative example of this well-known material.
