Euclase (RARE locality specimen)

Fine crystals of Euclase are not terribly common in nature, so when you find a piece like this (especially from a very hard to find locality), it's a real treat. This piece is a fine quality, sharp, well-formed, GEMMY, colorless, "sword"-shaped crystal of Euclase, free of matrix. The piece is in fairly good shape, though contacted on the edges and around the lower portion, but the termination is in very good condition. If you collect gem crystals, particularly Euclase, don't miss out on this one, as it's the only piece we've seen from the Lugela Pegmatite in Mozambique. Valued at $1,600 retail.
