Euclase and Muscovite on Cleavelandite

Sharp, glassy, colorless, euclase crystals along with pearlescent muscovite books are aesthetically strewn across the upright, sculptural, CABINET, matrix of cleavelandite on this very showy, excellent and uncommon larger specimen from the famous mines at Ouro Preto. Most of the euclase crystals are concentrated in the vuggy, lower left-hand quadrant of the piece. The crystals reach 1.3 cm, are well-striated, have textbook crystal form with chisel terminations and many of them are doubly terminated. Seldom do you see matrix euclase specimens in this richness, quality, size and combination from Ouro Preto. The striking piece displays well without aid, as the base has been sawed.
