Item Description
Euchroite is a rare hydrated copper arsenate and this showy small cabinet is from the famous old copper mine Type Locality - Lubietova. Clusters of lustrous, translucent, rich emerald-green crystals are nicely scattered on the oxide-coated muscovite schist matrix. Older material, undoubtably from pre-World War II. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in an exchange with the Naples Mineralogical Musem in 1978.
